Pillar: Access to Finance

National Innovation Funding Program

The National Research Fund (NRF) has so far played a crucial role in supporting researchers to carry out valuable research that has produced useful findings. There is however a need to complement the efforts and achievements of the NRF by establishing a national innovation funding program that would help bring these research findings to market. The national innovation funding program will mobilise financial resources from the public sector, private sector and development partners.
